San Diego Piano Lessons & Harp Lessons for $99/mo!

"My teaching style is custom made for each student."

I teach all levels from beginning to advance with ages ranging from 7 to 70. My students have the choice of choosing from these music genres: classical, Latin, Celtic, pop/rock, jazz and modern. The lesson durations are 30 minutes, 45 minutes, and 60 minutes. I recommend a 30-45 minute lesson for grade school age and any duration above for all other ages.

My philosophy for teaching music is that it should be fun and inspiring!

We will assess together which lesson duration is appropriate for you based on your goals and experience. Your music lesson will encompass performance, technique and theory skills.

San Diego Piano Lessons:

A piano will be provided for Free at your lessons. However, you will need a piano or
keyboard to practice at home. If you don’t have a keyboard or piano, I can refer you to some rentals.

San Diego Harp Lessons:

A harp will be provided for Free at your lessons. However, you will need a harp to practice at home. If you don’t have a harp, I can refer you to some harp rentals.
I recommend a folk/lever harp for all beginners.

Music Education: I have 14 years of experience playing the harp and earned my B.A. degree in Music from California State University of Northridge with a post baccalaureate emphasis on Early Childhood Education. I have also attended Southern California Conservatory of Music. I have had the privilege of studying under the expert tutelage of such talents as Grant Horrocks (Academic Director of Southern California Conservatory of Music), Maria Casale (graduate of Juilliard school of Music), Susan Allen (California Arts Institute faculty), Alfredo Rolando Ortiz (internationally acclaimed Paraguayan Harpist), Michael Rado (San Francisco Opera Theatre), Stella Castelluci (renown pop and jazz harpist), Ellie Choate (New California Conservatory faculty) and Carolyn Sykes (Pacific Harps) to name a few.
